It’s utterly amazing to me that his cognitive decline is overlooked and explained away by the media.

You would think that after 20 years of hearing "They are coming for your guns", the members of the NRA would wake up to the fact that it ain't happening! BTW, the NRA is over. They no longer have the power they once did. THANK YOU LETITIA JAMES!

I wonder if anyone could convince tfg to get a CT or an MRI scan of his brain by having him challenge Biden as to who has the best brain. The brain scans can show the effects of tfg dementia & possible TIAs as well as what Biden's brain aging looks like.

I’m disgusted that the media isn’t showing this.

Perhaps they should give him a mirror, like a parakeet.

The picture of Humpty Porker during the last day of the NY trial testimony is equally disconcerting unless he’s rehearing for a role in a new version of Young Frankenstein. (I’m relying on Jeff’s comment that the photo is unaltered in the event someone wants to challenge it. Please take that up with him.)

Ugh…. Would have preferred to listen to only a few seconds before he froze. Torture to have to listen to him longer than that. Especially thanking those monsters like Abbott. 🤢🤮

I agree - I couldn’t - I had seen the “freeze” elsewhere. However, listening to the speech, I realized how “bad” Trump has become overall. Anyone who has dealt with a loved one struck with Alzheimer’s recognizes the “wandering” thought processes, repetitive phrases, disjointed flow of his speech. This man - be it Trump or anyone else is not fit to be President of the United States. I can’t imagine him dealing with Putin or Xi or even our NATO allies. It wouldn’t be Trump as much as his handlers and there’s the question - who is pulling the strings? Fox News and other right wing media outlets are deliberately misinforming the public about Trump. Why??? Who is paying them to do it??

Why is the media working AGAINST the interests of the American people??

I agree with you that the slide is progressing. I'm a Trauma Therapist who has had family members and clients dealing with dementia. I highly doubt that anyone in the family or the inner circle would dare to say anything to him.

Actually, no, I think that’s not the case this time. They began playing music that was supposedly “reverent”. I think it was “Hallelujah” but was difficult to hear unless you increase the volume. He’s such a bad actor that he can’t even mimic being reverent or respectful about anything. But I think, in this case, he was inept at pretending to be listening respectfully to the dramatic music for a half minute before opening his lying mouth again. This is why the mainstream networks aren’t talking about it. At least I haven’t seen them mention it.

I kind of agree. He looked aware and waited while the music played, then broke into his schpeel about how America is declining. I think it was for dramatic effect which to me looked ridiculous.

“Early dementia” ain’t so early in 78 year old. 78 is OLD, and that’s when dementia happens!

I really appreciate these posts, even though of course they’re hugely concerning to say the least. I’m curious if any of these symptoms could be caused by something else than dementia or other cognitive decline?

I saw Alzheimers close up when my mother got it. The thing that always impressed me was the effect it had on the body. It shuts down normal bodily functions that keep us functioning . The speed of these changes can be staggering.

Someone needs to get the message out that if he were to win the Vice President (maybe MTG ) will end up as President or worse if he lingers then a back room person will pull the strings.
